What Could Frequent Pulsating Pressure In Right Ear Indicate?

I have a pulsating pressure that occurs frequently throughout the day in my right ear. It doesn't hurt, it just feels like something inside is pounding to get out. It sometimes stops if I hold my nose and blow to "pop" my ears, but it doesn't always work.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have frequent pulsating pressure in right ear, Well there can be many reasons for pulsating sensation in ear like ear infection , increase in blood pressure and eustachian tube disorder . But in your case it seems to me that there is localized increase in blood pressure due to which you are experiencing pulsating sensation . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper diagnosis and treatment. Avoid touching and pricking it with sharp object. Discuss the localized increase in blood pressure with doctor due to dysfunction of some small vessel . Doctor may prescribe drug like eperisone , muscle relaxant and sedatives . For now take proper rest and drink green tea thrice a day .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
