What Could Hard, Flaky And Red Areas On Arms And Under The Breasts Indicate?

inside of both arms are at elbow are hard and flaky some area start out like a red rash and get dry and hard and start pealing, I ve taken 2 rounds of steriods and gone to dermatoligist given scrip. for ointment of over 300.00 reg. price, skin is really wrinkling, it started where skin touches skin, two area on each side at waist area., and under breast two round patches...

Hello,
If the steroids are not taking care of the problem, then it is possible that you have a fungal infection. Try an over the counter antifungal/antiyeast cream. If that does not clear up the rash then you may need to have the dermatologist do a biopsy to determine the cause of the rash.
