What Could Have Caused A Big Indentation For My 25-year-old Daughter?

My 25 year old daughter has a big indentation a the back of her knee and its sore. Been there about a year, asked her nurse practitioner about then and she said it was nothing but its still there and sore. There are quite some varicose veins there also. Any ideas? She is going to the walk in clinic in the next couple days

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think she should see an orthopedic specialist for the indentation, and angiologist for her varicose veins to check it out.

The indentation could be possible ingrowing bone (spurs), but X-ray is required to say the last word. Plus, we need to run arthritis testing and Doppler ultrasound for varicose veins. Discuss this further with her caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
