What Could Have Caused Swelling In The Feet?
My father has hit his leg with a hammer at work. at first his leg just got a bump. Then, a few days later his foot swelled up really big. Now, his foot is bruising. We are concerned because we don t know why his foot would swell up when he hit his leg.

Your symptoms seem to be related to the injury. I suggest using anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 mg. I also suggest using ice compresses for local application and elevate the leg.
