What Could Have Caused The Vision Turning Magenta To Amber Colour To Magenta After Eye Dilation In A Diabetic Person?

I had my eyes dilated two days ago. Upon leaving the clinic, I stopped by to shop with my husband and everything turned a bright magenta...the entire store, stock, lighting, etc. Never happened before. A little later, everything turned an amber color and back to the magenta. This concerns me somewhatt. I am diabetic. Just wondered what may have happened.

Hello,

The effect of the pupil dilatation lost for almost 6 hrs. With dilated pupil patients are advised not to go in broad day light.
This color photophobia occurs due to large amount of light entering the eye.
I would advice my patient to use sunglass in day light after pupil dilatation.
You don't need to worry about this if this does not recurs.
