What Could Have Led To Pressure And Pulsating Sensation On Ears And Head?

Hi Dr. Last night, I experienced severe pressure in my head, which starts off with pressure in my ears then moves over the entire head. The pressure is extreme, with my heart beat pounding in my head. I pass out, but only for a few seconds and get pins and needles. It lasts in all about 15 minutes, then I return back to normal. This has happened twice in the last two weeks, and about four years ago? I m a female and 39.

Symptoms you describe are on a certain scale serious.

In my opinion, you should get evaluated by your Neurologist as the first step in understanding better your condition.

Changes in intracranial pressure, for example, may result in such symptoms.

Anxiety disorder also is a possibility.
