What Could High Temperature With On And Off Twitching Body In A Child Indicate?

My child has had a high temperature since yesterday. Calpol is not reducing it and now it is 39.5. He has a doctors appointment today but he keeps twitching, it s not really bad twitching but it s like he is jumping. This is not happening all the time. He s also very lethargic. Shall I take him to a&he?

Hello,

Go immediately to doctor and visit him. He may need to get checked by a neurologist. Use ibuprofen to lower the body temperature and warm baths.
