What Could It Be If I Had Sore Breast Without Any Lumps, Lesions Or Changes?

For the last few days my left breast has been sore. No warmth, no irregular surface lesions. Nothing different about my breast. No lumps. Yet inside, when I cough or hiccup there is some pain. which was almost gone yesterday but has returned a bit today. I fell last week and could have hit my breast on the pavement and I do have implants. There is also no change in the appearance of my breast. If I may say so , it looks great. I know I should go have it checked out but havent yet. I am signing up or for insurance etc etc, I dont know how i ended up here but here I am. would like to know what the cost of this is before i proceed.

If I were your doctor, I would have liked to examine you clinically before prescribing any medications. However, based on your history, I would suggest you to go for some over the counter (OTC) anti inflammatory drug for 3-4 days, which should resolve the matter if it is due to some trauma. If it does not, I would advise you for a mammogramme followed by a MRI if need be and suggested by your treating doctor.

On the insurance matter, it varies from one region to the other and also from one company to other. You have to decide on this after learning about the pros and cons of each.
