What Could It Be If Having Blister At The Back Of Knee Which Bleeds When Popped And Forms A Blister Again?
My husband has a small blood blister on the back of his knee, we popped it and it has just dripped blood, and it wouldn't stop bleeding, we finally got it to stop, then it healed, to the same blood blister again, it popped again, and the same bleeding is happening again, I had to tie a tourniquet around it, and have him put his leg closed and up
It would be best to not to incise and drain it at home. This should be done under sterile conditions to reduce the chance of causing any infection to the area.
It may be recurring because there is a cyst that is re accumulating fluid. This cyst may need to be removed to prevent blood from building back up.
This would only be a minor procedure. It would be best for him to visit his doctor for an evaluation.
I hope this helps
