What Could It Be If Having Brown Discharge After 39 Weeks Of Pregnancy After Losing Mucous Plug?
hi. i am 39/2 weeks. I had my weekly appointment with my doctor 2 days ago. i had mentioned about some clear discharge. worried i may be leaking my water. Turned out it wasnt and ended up being an infection so now im on meds. Because they checked my cervix and ran some tests i know its normal to experience some slight spotting that can last up to 24 hours. i lost my mucus plug at 36/3 weeks. had my "bloody show". Now i am experiencing some brown discharge. im not sure if its just old blood or something else. Any ideas?

Hello dear,I understand your problem, Brown discharge may be suggestive of excessive show, abruptio placenta. I would suggest you must consult your doctor and get the ultrasound done to see fetus is well or not.
