What Could It Be If Spitting Jelly Like Saliva?

i have the problem of spitting not so thick but jelly like saliva..its happening from a month...i have this problem before and even after eating...before going to sleep..everytime..i am so much troubled with this.i am getting it immediately i spit once.please help me.before i use to get it with out cough.few days ago i suffered with cold.now it is accompanied with cough also

Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history of jelly like saliva for over a month and now cough and cold for a few days.
The commonest causes are:
Sub-clinical infection of the salivary gland hence the tenaceous sputum is produced.
Bad oral hygiene due to caries or so
Dehydration- not taking sufficient oral fluids.

I would suggest you the following:
Consult an ENT for clinical evaluation. examination and investigations if need be. You need to take a 5-day course of antibiotic, antihistamine and anti-inflammatory.
And you may also need medicines for trigeminal neuralgia.
