What Could Itchy Bumps Post A Back Surgery Suggest?

Yes I am recovering from back surgery since the 21st of September I started itching a few days after surgery they gave me Benadryl in the hospital now I m still itching but it only happens late in the afternoon and at bed time I m also breaking out in small bumps

Hello,

I can understand your concern for the itchy bumps post a back surgery. You have not mentioned your age, sex and related medical history so that I could have helped you better.

I suggest to keep a watch over the itchy bumps and in case if the area increases in size or show any changes like more intense itching, any pain or burning sensation then you should immediately report to a dermatologist.
In m patients with your kind of problem I generally prescribe an antihistamine to reduce the itching and a steroid base cream such a hydrocortisone.

DO not try to scratch the area and wear cotton clothes.
