General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, raised itchy bumps with pus filled content indicate possible bacterial infection through gram positive bugs such as staph aureus or others. The spreading lesions to forearm indicate contagious spread from surrounding regions. In my clinic, I do suggest a swab culture report of the lesion content so that better treatment guidelines can be figured out.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
