What Could Itchy Rashes On Inner Thigh Suggest?

I m 47 years old, for the last year or so I ve gotten a rash on my inner thigh right before my period and it lasts the entire period. It goes away and then comes back the same time the next month. It only itches sometimes. I do not use pads. Any ideas what it could be?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

Your rash on the inner thigh could be a Tinea cruris (fungal infection of the groin) or an intertrigo (inflammation of skin folds). Final diagnosis could be made only after proper clinical examination.

So, I recommend you to visit your Dermatologist for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
