What Could Itchy Vaginal Skin Suggest?

I've been really irradiated around my vaginal opening for quite some time, and i was trying to see if it was normal but every picture i see online doesnt show the same piece of skin i have under my vaginal opening, it becomes dry and sore and irritates me during sex, its not a lump or a bummp but a hard peice of skin sticking off. do you know what it is and if its normal?
