A month ago I noticed a large bump on the cartilage of my second rib on the right side. My third rib seems to be slightly raised at the cartilage as well but not as much as my second rib. Just a week ago it has started to cause a burning pain when I go on long walks or jump around. I also notice my right lower rib cage is indented. I have not had any trauma or injury. I don t know if it could be related but the past year I have been experiencing a tightness in my chest at the end of my work day or if I stand for really long periods of time. I have asthma but this feels different than when I have an attack. The tightness feels more like my rib cage isn t big enough for my lungs. It eases away if I take my inhaler though.
