What Could Large Polymorphs In Vaginal Swab Indicate?

Hi a recent pap smear test was done, plus a high vaginal swab. It came back showing large numbers of Polymorphs but no indication of infection, either bacterial, or fungal. What could the large number of polymorphs indicate. I am awaiting a ultrasound for checking on a post menopausal bleed I had a few weeks ago. Are the two scenarios related ?Thank you.
