What Could Large, Soft Mass Inside The Vagina At The Age Of 70 Indicate?

I am a 70 year old female..i have found a large soft mass inside my vagina..I have had 6 live natural births and one abortion..last birth was 1980.. I am only 4 10 and weigh 175 pounds.. I have noticed that I am urinating more often and I need to kind of shift forward a bit to get all urine out.. I am worried and thought I would chack here before making doctors appointment..thank you

Hello,

You have a large soft mass inside the uterus. It can be indicative of vaginal cysts, varicosities, vaginal skin tags, polyp, vaginal tumors, uterine prolapse, bladder prolapse, cancer. Wear panties made of natural material like cotton. Natural materials are breathable and can help keep your genitals cool and dry. Take care of your hygiene. Avoid wearing clothing that rubs and chafes your vulva or vagina.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist, commonly uterine prolapse or bladder prolapse present with such symptoms. If it were cancer, it would have presented with discharge and bleeding. However, your treating doctor will do a biopsy, few required blood and imaging tests if cancer is suspected. Get it done. In case any other medical conditions is diagnosed it will be treated accordingly( conservative treatment or surgery).
