What Could Memory Loss With Repetitive Action Of Speech Suggest?

Dear Doctor my fathers memory is getting low and he is repeating while expressing any word three to four times Ex: water water water water instead of asking one time he is expressing four times and what he is speaking also it is not that much strong what kind of problem it is and is there any remedy for this?
