What Could Nausea, Vomiting And Frequent Cough In A Child Indicate?
Hi my daughter is 4 year old and her weight is 16 kgs , she is having morning nausea and vomiting problem this nausea feeling remains till 11:00 am after that she gets stable. other than this she gets cough frequently. Please let me know what could be the problem.
Nausea may be due to infection in the sinuses or food poisoning or gastritis with lower respiratory tract infection etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. So give her worm water, avoid cool drinks and ice creams. Use Vomikind syrup 2 mg for five days. If symptoms have not improved, please consult with your pediatrician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
