Hello and welcome to HCM,
Periodic pain on inside of left elbow can occur due to various causes.
Pain over the elbow joint is usually due to inflammation of joint.
Inflammation of joint occurs due to overuse of joint as seen in tennis and golf players.
However, you do not have that history.
The pain can be muscular in origin.
Muscular pain usually responds to rest and muscle relaxants.
Besides muscular pain, the pain can be of soft tissue origin.
Consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and thus further management.

Thanks and take care
