What Could On And Off Pain In Left Lower Side Indicate?
I have persistent left lower side pain, just about everyday, not severe. I have had diviticulitus in the past have been on fagel on and off for sometime. Had a CT Scan and blood work about a month ago.they said no signs of diviticulitus . Was scheduled for a colonaspity but have had that pain over the weekend. What would u say is going on? Thanks
Based on the history you have shared, your symptoms can be the recurrence of diverticulitis as it is more clear after colonoscopy because the sensitivity of CT scan to pick diverticulitis is low. For the pain, I would recommend you to take over the counter painkillers and get colonoscopy done plus try to take soft diet that is easy to digest. It will surely help.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
