What Could Painful Hair Roots After Removing Hair Setting Indicate?
hi guys, just a quick question I am a guy and after I wash my hair I back comb it. I apply some hair products to keep it in the style and shape, however, when I come home, wash it out and bring the hair forward the roots/scalp hurts. Is this bad? What does it mean? Thanks for your time
As per your case history, you are having folliculitis, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil, and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
