What Could Painful Nipples With Scabs And Hole On Tip Of Them Indicate?

There was a lake and my daughter went swimming and then she complained her nipples hurt and I know she isn t lying because there are like scabs on them and on the very tip it seems to be like a hole but she can t even let her shirt touch it or it gets sore.

Hi,

It seems to be infection of the nipple slips and after injury, cracking of nipple (due to unhygiene) the bacteria enter the cracked skin to cause infection inflammation making it painful. She needs antibiotic, anti inflammatory drugs for relief, along with proper cleaning of the part daily. Please don't attempt cleaning herself let the doctor instruct. Over the counter anti inflammatory drug like Brufen 200 mg three times a day can be taken after food till she meets a surgeon.
