What Could Period-like Bleeding And Spotting A Week After Intercourse Indicate?

i had sex with my wife last sunday ,the next day she had ipiil tablet now after 1 week today she is getting bleeding just like periods,yesterday she had just like spot bleeding in brown color but today she got bleeding just like periods... may i knw the reason for this bleeding?? is she pregnant??did she get a period on her next actual period date??

Hi,

I-pill is an emergency contraceptive. It contains high dose of hormones which postpones ovulation day and causes contraception. After 8 days of intake, these hormones leave our body and cause withdrawal bleeding due to that.
