What Could Persistent Brown Spotting Followed By Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Indicate?

My period was Aug 31 I started having brown spotting Sept 28. I continued to spot up until today which is Oct 9 then I had a heavier flow the blood was dark red. I have all the signs of pregnacy. but yesterday and today Ive been having spark pains no cramps.

Hi.

Pregnancy signs are mostly displayed due to a hormonal change and so many other factors causing hormonal imbalances can also similar symptoms. Some of the conditions include:

+Side effect of medications
+Generalised infections (e.g. upper reapiratory tract infection)
+Stress
+Conditions of the reproductive tract (e.g. ovarian cysts, polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, etc.)
+Birth control pills
+Strenuous exercise
and a few others.

But if at all there was a history of unprotected sexual intercourse then please visit a doctor to rule out miscarriage, and find the cause for the irregular bleeding.
