What Could Persistent Shivery Feeling In Rib Cage And Chest Indicate?

I have a strange shivery feeling in my rib cage and upper chest, I have been treated with antibiotics for a UTI but this feeling persists. Could you give me any indication of what it may be please. P.S. I also have hot flushes which only come with this feeling, and Yes I am female and of that age, but have kept a note of things ( this isn t the first time it s occurred) and only get them when I get the shivery feelings.

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, these sensation can be due to palpitations and you should get an EKG for reassurance.

Also if upper chest or ribs discomfort persists chest X-ray for any chest related issues. Hot flushes can be a possibility and you can get hormonal profile for reassurance.
