What Could Pins And Needles In Legs With Sore Neck Suggest?

My 20 year old son last night experienced sudden onset of pins and needles in his arms legs and face and he also felt dizzy and faint.Pins and needles lasted for about an hour and a bit. This morning his head was sore and he still felt faint. Headache has gone but his neck is sore and he has a bit of pins and needles in his foot. He feels very tired. He had a hip op 9 weeks ago and that has been sore too.
