What Could Possibly Cause Vaginal Odour?

i was given an antibiotic for
bv 2 years ago and got C-diff from it. Ever since then I've been having issues with vaginal odor. one doctor put me on vagifem - saying that vaginal dryness can cause odor. Another doctor said vaginal dryness would NOT cause odor. I am in menopause (8 yrs). I am still plagued with this vaginal odor and it seems to come and go but i have it now most of the time - just changes in intensity. I drink a lot of water and have a pretty good diet. Lately Ive noticed almost a "chemical" smell. I am desperate and don't know what to do. Have used rephresch (OTC) for ph balance - sometimes helps, sometimes no.
