Noted the short history of a 53 year old lady having drumming or pounding in head and ears, continuous for 3 days, worse when in bed at night, wants opinion. The commonest causes of such symptoms can any anything of the following: Hypertension meaning high blood pressure. Hyperthyroidism meaning high thyroid function. Anxiety or stress. Any tumor or other condition of brain. Hence I would advise you the following: Consult your regular Doctor so that a proper clinical evaluation including the vital and general examination can have clinical diagnosis to be supported by investigations and to be evaluated further by referral to a Specialist if needed. Once a proper diagnosis is made then a specific treatment can cure your problems or evaluated further and treated as per the cause found.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
