What Could Pregnancy Symptoms Along With Periods Indicate?

Sexualy active. Regular with my period too every month. But this month my period came 9 days late, followed my back pain, headache, dizziness, nausea, aversion for food, weaknes. I was facing all these problems as my fertility cycle ended till now when I m having a full fleged normal period. Please will you help me out to know is their anything to worry about pregnancy or other issues or it is a normal health issue? Cause different opinions of people are puzzling me & making me scared. With Thanks.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to premenstrual syndrome. There is a very little chance of pregnancy in my opinion. You can do a urine pregnancy test or a beta hCG test for confirmation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
