What Could Prolonged Sore Throat, Raised Rashes On Body With Orange Urine Indicate?

my daughter is 23, has had a sore throat for 5 days, and now has a rash on her body that she says appears raised, (she is in NYC, we are in California!) and her urine is orange...She has a doctors appointment next Wednesday, however concerned parents want her to see someone ASAP Thoughts please

Hi,

When was the sore throat? Ongoing now, or few days back? Any edema of legs or peri orbital puffiness? Any decrease in urine output? Is she o any drugs like vitamin supplements(some drugs can cause urine discolouration)?

Sore throat with rash might suggests scarlet fever, and if associated with hight coloured urine, we have to consider AGN(acute glomerulo nephritis) also. But we need more details like urine microscopy report, her blood pressure and few blood tests before commenting.
