What Could Recurred, Itchy, Swollen Rash On Cheek Indicate?
I have a rash that appeared on my cheek within hours. It started out just a small pimple like and it started to feel itchy then LOTS of bumps appeared. Looks like there is something in the bumps. They are in a circle like cluster on only one side of my cheek. The strange thing is I ve had the exact rash, in the exact same spot twice before. It itches and it s swollen.
I can understand your concern. It seems that you have developed an allergic reaction to an allergen that you are not aware about.
I would advise you to start treatment with antihistamine such as Levocetrizine 5 mg (Levocet) or Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for 5 days. The reaction should subside with this medication. However, if it persists, you should consult a dermatologist for clinical examination and further investigations.
As the reaction is recurring, I would advise you to go for a blood test for allergy that will evaluate what substance you are allergic to so that you can avoid exposure to it in future.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
