What Could Recurring, Bleeding Bump Near The Vagina Indicate?
A few days ago I found what was like a blood filled lump near my vagina where my pubic hair is. I left it alone because I red online that it may pop on its own. I did and a yesterday it was releasing discharge so I squeezed it and bright red blood came out, and lots of it! After that I cleaned it and left it to heal, I ve looked at it today and it seems to be filling up again with blood, what is this?
hello, i can understand your concern. r u sexually active???if yes, is there any chance of contracting an std?? most probably it seems like a folliculitis due to a bacterial infection, this might be due to faulty shaving technique or usage of a blunt razor. i would suggest application of an antiseptic cream like betadine(povidone iodine )over the area . this would resolve the issue most of the times. in case the problem persists an antibiotic like augmentin(amoxicillin+clavulanate) would be prescribed for five days. keep the are clean and sterile. this would aid in healing. feel free to ask further queries. thanks for choosing HCM.
