Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife is experiencing dizziness the past few days; similar to when you stand up too fast. It is really bothering her to the point that it is affecting daily activities. Not vertigo, just dizziness. Is there something we can do to relieve the problem, or does it require a doctor visit? Thank you.
As per query you wife have frequent episode of dizziness . Well dizziness can occur from wide range of reasons from simple weakness to more serious condition like acoustic neuroma . In females dizziness usually occur due to weakness for example low hemoglobin level or less amount of blood . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper checkup . Doctor may perform certain test like complete blood count . Doctor may prescribe supplement like iron supplement or may refer you to ENT specialist if there is anything related to ear . For now drink lots of water and eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables specially containing iron like spinach .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
