Hello and welcome to HCM,
A painful hard lump in between your eyes needs to be clinically assessed before making a diagnosis.
The lump could be a soft tissue lesion or a bony lesion.
A X-ray of the region is required to know the nature of the lesion - bony or soft tissue lesion and its relation with surrounding tissues.
There are certain lesions arising from adnexal structures like sweat gland, sebaceous glands which are painful.
Certain investigations like aspiration cytology are required to assess the nature of the lesion for diagnosis and management.
Thus, I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for further management.

Thanks and take care
