What Could Recurring Headaches In A Child With White Mucus Filled Stools Indicate?

Hi,for 6 months my 9 year old son has been complaining of headaches i took him to kaiser docotor said it was migrane.After i took my son to see allergy doc test were done he found nothing,doc said inside his nose was swollen so now there sending me to see a nose doctor.NOW my son is complaining of his stomach when he does num 2 it comes out with a white mucus.His doc said it was normal ,i switched doctors and this second one said the same thing there has been no blood work done no ct scan for his headaches.I told them its an infection now he is complaing of his chest help please

Hello,

The most common cause of headache for a child of 9 years is visual disturbances in form of development of difficulty in reading at school class board. Let his vision checked with an expert Ophthalmologist before approaching of further headache consultation with CT brain (which exposes your kid to dangerous radiation).

So far as the mucus filled stools indicate, possible malabsorption or other related issues as enzyme deficiency seem to be present. It is best recommended for the stool issue to get a basic routine microscopy examination of the stool sample.
