What Could Recurring Muscle Twitches All Over The Body Indicate?

I have had muscle twitches all over my body for the past week. Mostly when I am lying down. I have been to the hospital twice and to the doctor once. All of my blood work is ok. I have had my thyroid checked and it is also ok. I am a 36 year old female. The doctors just keep telling me they don t know why any ideas what it could be?
