What Could Recurring Numbness In One Side Of The Body Indicate?

Hi doctor, This happens to my mom, Yesterday Morning whn she woke up from bed her half part of body left side gets numb. She couldn t move her body until get injection from doc. My mom is 60 years old and this happens 3rd time in paSt 6 months. I need advice from the expert. Thank you Ratna

Hi Ratna.

Please visit a neurologist at the earliest as your mother will most certainly require an elaborate evaluation. MRI brain, blood coagulation profile, lipid profile, blood preasure monitoring, etc; are all mandatory evaluations. A stroke or mini-stroke will have to be ruled out at the earliest.
