What Could Recurring Pain In Left Armpit And Back Of Shoulder Indicate?
I ve been getting pain in my left armpit and back of shoulder it s come on all if a sudden it comes and goes I m having no it her symptoms like headache sweaty it s just the dull pain I ve had it for about week just over any suggestions on what it could b?? Any ideas would be great thank you
Most gastric conditions can mimic symptoms of a cardiac event (which is serious and requires immediate medical attention), so the first thing I would urge you to do is to visit a clinic, doctor or hospital for an EKG. If hopefully, a cardiac cause is ruled out request the medical team for an injection of pantoprazole. If this helps provide even minimal relief then your cause is most probably gastric.
Schedule an appointment with your doctor for an elaborate evaluation including a 24-acid monitoring , and possibly even an endoscopy of the upper GI tract. In the meantime, avoid alcohol, avoid smoking, avoid spicy/fatty/oily/fried food, avoid stress, drink plenty of water, avoid carbonated drinks, and avoid rigorous exercise.
Best wishes.
