What Could Recurring White Spots On Tonsils, Stuffy Nose And Dry Mouth Indicate?

I had white spots on my tonsils and it went away after couple of weeks. I went to doctors care and got some antibiotics. The white spots came and gone and now I only have like one or two. Does not bother me but back of my throat does still. My nose is stuffy as well like as if I have allergy. Started to have really dried mouth and now it is better since I have been using the mouth wash for dried mouth. And today I found a red spot on my left cheek. Today will be the two month mark of this. Is this just away of my mouth fighting the jnfection? I did smoke while I had the white spots so I could have some infection but not sure. Haven t smoked in three weeks. Need a advice.

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of recurring white spots on tonsils, stuffy nose and dry mouth which could be due to follicular tonsillitis. In this condition white spots occurs on tonsil along with swelling of lymph nodes. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Red spots on left cheek could be due to draining infection. Start taking antibiotics to prevent further spread of infection. Take course of anti-inflammatory medications as well. Do warm saline gargles. Drink plenty of water to re-hydrate yourself. Don't smoke at all as it will exaggerate your symptoms.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
