What Could Rough, Puss Filled Bumps On Penis Indicate?

At first I noticed a bump on my penis. It was rough and filled with a yellowish puss. I went to see a doctor and he said it was nothing. Just where my pants had rubbed onto my penis. I work in the hot sun all day so I sweat a lot. A couple of days ago I noticed that smaller bumps began to form all over the top of my shaft. Could this be cause by sweat and rubbing or is it something more serious.

Hello,

The pus filled bump on penis shaft does indicates soft tissue lesion with bacterial infection, most likely Staph aureus bug. This is not absolutely related to pant friction, and following measures will help for better recovery:
- Cleansing of penis with antiseptic liquid or soap
- Sterile dressing with normal saline and Polymycin or similar cream
- Prescription of antibiotics such as amoxicillin with clavulanic acid or cephalosporins
- Prophylactic anti fungal medications as Fluconazole in some cases
- Avoidance of vaginal, anal or oral sex till recovery
- Control of blood sugar
