What Could Severe Abdominal Pain Indicate?

Hi I have been having pain in my belly all the way from my c-section scar to right below my rib cage for about 2 days now. I am on several medications for multiple conditions and have been having problems with my bowels (ie one day I have diarhea the next I don t) but its to the point now that it hurts to walk, to lay down, and if I eat the pain gets so intense that its almost like labor pains just higher up on my belly. Any ideas? My doctor can t see me till next week and the last ultrasound of my gallbladder said the little sac its in was so full of fat they couldn t even see it.

Hello,

You need an abdominal ultrasound as soon as possible. You should get evaluated because this can be related to gallbladder issues. The diarrhea may be related to stress and isn't much related to this.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
