What Could Severe Bleeding With Hard Clots, Post Abortion Suggest?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here. Hi I had a abortion 4weeks ago and I'm still bleeding. Bleeding has got lighter but yesterday I had a hard clot about the size of a peach seed if not bigger. It also look liked a brain. Bearing in mind I was 9weeks when I had the abortion
Hello dear Understand your concern Bleeding after 4 week of abortion is not normal. Normally bleeding will stop with in 7 days. It should be use under advice of gynecologist to prevent complication. It may be continuous abortion process as hard clot about the size of a peach seed has been passed. But you should consult the gynecologist and need USG scan for confirmation of retain product that may be bleed continuous in your case. If it is there it should be treated by evacuation or D & C. Healthy diet with iron supplements, proper rest, blood transfusion is given if required. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
