What Could Severe Pain In Lower Back Radiating To Groin Indicate?

Came back,from the ER was unable to walk do to pain in lower back. They did a X-ray which showed nothing. I can walk. Ow but horrible pain in my right side of,the back and sometimes it feels like something is grabbing my groin. I do have a DDD. But this weakness is really killing me. Any ideas

Hi,

The pain in lower back,being conducted to groin is likely to be ureter colic pain due to renal stones being expelled through ureters. Actually plain X-ray abdomen would reveal it, urine routine test would show crystals of the calicular salt. Self care till you consult an expert: drinking lot of water, Tab Cystone 2 pills three times a day with water would help in expulsion of these stone. Antispasmodic pills like Synalgesic would relieve unbearable pain. You need advise of a surgeon for more specific and personal advise.
