What Could Short Periods With Bleeding And Brown Discharge In Between Indicate?

My menstral cycle was really weird this month. It started two days early, stopped after two days for two days, picked back up for a couple hours and then stopped. In all the in between I was having brown discharge. My husband and I thought it was implantation bleeding until it picked up again and now I am not sure what is going on.

I really appreciate your concern, it is the history of scanty and irregular bleeding it could be due to hormone changes and not the implantation some time it could be due to age too, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
