What Could Shortness Of Breath With Shoulder Pain Suggest?

Hi,I have had shortness of breath for about 15years which doctors have said is due to me over breathing and hyper ventilation.jus recently I have been getting a stitch wen I'm breathing and havent even been doing any exercise and pains in my left n right side n right shoulder,what is this please?
