What Could Sore Throat With Excess Mucus Suggest?

Hello, I am a 16 year old boy who is very active. For three week now I have noticed that I have had a sore throat, rapid heart beat, and mild shortness of breath. I do have allergies, but this seems like a virus to me. Do you have any ideas as to what would be the cause of all this? I also experience certain periods of excess mucus.

As per your clinical history it appears that you are having allergic rhinitis leading to upper respiratory tract infection.

If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you
Steam Inhalation twice daily,
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily ,
Plenty of fluids ,
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination &
Vitamin C.
