What Could Sores/lumps On Cheek Suggest?

Hi,For the last week I have noticed a long standing sore on the inside of my cheek, which the dentist says is non cancerous and probably caused by me biting the area while I sleep, has turned into a pea sized lump, slightly purple in colour. It can be felt both on the inside, and outside of my mouth.

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some noncancerous lesion. But still if it is persistent or increased in size then you should go for biopsy of that lesion. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
