What Could Spams At Night With Painful Hips Suggest?

Every night when I go to bed I experience sever spasms at night. My doctor perscribed Neurontin 300mg/1 capsule a night, but it doesn't seem to be working. If I didn't know any better I swear it's even worse. Not only am I'm dealing with cramps in my legs and back my hips are killing me. Just rolling over is very painful. My body is always sore as if I ran a marathon or something like that. I take ibuprofen 200mg/ 12 caplets a day, I know it's not good for my body but I'm at my wits end.
